Best Buy Music Section Employees
- one step above the Wal-Mart Greeter -

Have you ever known that you were dealing with a moron and just decided to have fun with it? Well that is what happened to me a couple weeks back when I made the huge mistake of entering Best Buy in order to buy the new release from a band called "The Music". Normally I would not have anyone help me in the music section of any store, but since I was unsure if the album was released yet and since the kid approached me as soon as I came in, I figured, what the hell, I'll throw this kid a bone. Here is how it went down...
Best Buy Employee: "Hi, can I help you find anything today?"
JS: "Sure, I am looking for 'The Music'."
Best Buy Employee: "Well sir, you are in the music section."
Holy shit, can this kid really be that dumb that he thinks I am talking about trying the find the music section of the store? Well I can see how he could potentially have misunderstood, so lets continue...
JS: "No, I don't think you understand, the name of the band is 'The Music'."
Best Buy Confused Employee: "Well that is a funny name for a band. Don't they know they could be confused with other bands that play music?"
JS: "Riiight. So do you have it?"
Best Buy Confused Employee: "We might, follow me."
...And this is where the kid makes me proud. If you were to walk into a music section looking for a band called "The Music", what letter would you look under? "M"...right? If not, you may be perfect for working in the Best Buy music department. This kid actually takes me to the letter "T" for "The"?!!!! What a fucking moron! Okay, now this kid is going to get what is coming to him...
Best Buy Retard: "Sir, it seems that perhaps we don't have the album or are sold out."
JS: "Oh, that is odd. Perhaps you have the single?"
Best Buy Retard: "I can check, what do they sing?"
JS: "Songs."
Best Buy Retard: "Hmm...I have never heard of that song. I can look online perhaps and we can have it delivered for you."
JS: "Sure, can you check online and see if 'The Music' has 'songs' on the album?"
...Wow! This kid is truly a fucking idiot. Now he actually thinks there is a song called 'Songs' on the album. I may have to give this kid a tasty bowl of lead paint chips to snack on when I leave...
Best Buy Brain Dead: "Sir, it appears we do have the album available online, but there does not appear to be any 'Songs' on the album."
JS: "No songs on the album? Well I don't want to buy it then. What point is having 'The Music' without songs?"
Best Buy Brain Dead: "I don't know, sir. Is there anything else I can help you find today?"
....At this point I am seriously debating whether to continue this charade and perhaps ask to find a 'Scary Movie' in the Horror DVD section, but I am afraid this kid's head will explode if I continue....
JS: "No thanks, but I appreciate all your help. Good day. I say good day!"
....And so I left the moron to his moronic ways and headed back into the music section where I located the letter "M". Oddly enough, I found "The Music" I was looking for. Sometimes, its just too easy.
